Here I am, a little shy but happy to greet you with a smile and always wishing you happiness.
What follows is something written for a brochure.

" Maria Grazia Luffarelli, born in Roma, Italy, is self-taught. She has studied art and design, art history, ceramics and dance, and she has always been attracted to watercolors and natural things themes. This can be seen in her original use of unusual tones full of light and movement. Her high school studies in classics led to a deeper interest in literature and philosophy.
She has a natural curiosity about the world around her, as shown by the wide range of subjects she portrays in her work.
Her greatest inspiration comes from nature and she often travels far away from home in search of fresh images.
In her paintings the joyful colors of spring and summer and the delicate shades of winter play with the essential forms of her subjects (primarily flowers, landscapes and animals).
Her work is influenced by Expressionism, whose powerful colors and forceful imagery she shares.
She works mainly in watercolors, which best renders the spontaneity, freshness and vivacity, as well as the simplicity , of her personality and thus of her paintings.
Her colors, always intense and joyful, combine successfully with the transparency and fluidity of a medium considered by many to be among the most difficult to master.
Her watercolors have been exhibited in a number of cultural centres in Rome and a selection of her work has been chosen by an important Milanese Company to be printed and distributed all over the world.
Maria Grazia lives and works with tireless enthusiasm in Rome."


What follows is what the French Journalist Gilles Fallot wrote about me publishing in the magazine "Forum":

Maria Grazia Luffarelli peint des aquarelles qui transmettent la fraîcheur d’un matin au printemps, la douceur d’une nuit méditerranéenne quand les conteurs racontent les voyages de Sindbàd tandis qu’une voile passe au loin, comme un mystère ailé.
Maria Grazia Luffarelli est une aquarelliste qui peint des fleurs aux couleurs irisées, des paysages tranquilles, une flore et une faune qui sont calmes, reposées et reposantes.
Le trésor secret n’est pas dans l’invisible, mais dans le visible, dans l’apparent incontournable qui nous apprend à voir, enfin à contempler la beauté de la nature. Le réel est délicat, sont apparat ce sont les couleurs qui donnent du plaisir et qui nous font don d’un état de paisible bonheur.
Chez Maria Grazia Luffarelli, la touche est légère; son monde est sensible, discret et néanmoins éclatant. En effet, du bonheur jaillit de ses gracieuses toiles fraîches.
Cette jeune femme énergique me dit :
- J’ai la capacité de m’émerveiller devant des choses simples.
Maria Grazia Luffarelli peint dans son agréable boutique qui est donc une galerie – atelier – point de vente.
Je lui demande comment elle travaille? Elle me répond :
- Je crée une ambiance, mais je n’y pense pas pendant que je peins. C’est naturel.
- Les allées et venues des clients ne vous dérangent pas ?
- Je dessine et peins seule jusqu’à 11 heures. Ensuite, j’ouvre la boutique. Si je suis trop dérangée, ou si j’ai envie d’être tranquille, je la ferme et je rouvre plus tard.
Dans sa galerie remplie de ses œuvres récentes, je me sentais comme à la campagne pendant une journée souriante quand, par quelque miracle, les hommes et les choses sont à leur place naturelle.
